Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2011

Merry Christmas.

As 2011 comes to a close and 2012 rapidly approaches I wish you a very Merry Christmas.

Thank you very much for your support over the past year. Cornerstone Wealth turned 5 this year. It has been very rewarding serving you and working with you to achieve great outcomes. This is what I enjoy and what motives me. Thanks again for your support.

As we celebrated the birth of our 6th child, Abigail, last month I am reminded of the families around the world who have been impacted by catastrophes throughout the year. In particular I encourage you to pray for people impacted by the recent storms in the Philippines and for those involved in the tragic sinking of an asylum seeker boat as it headed toward Australia.

At Christmas I often like to challenge myself and my family to help someone who we will not receive anything from in return. Last night good friends and neighbours continued with an event my wife Meredith started last year. We get a few local families together to sing carols at a couple of local nursing homes. Other friends are hosting lunches at Church or at home for those who don’t have anyone to celebrate with. You may like to take on a similar challenge this Christmas by assisting someone in your local community or someone further abroad, like the Philippines for example.
